We are thrilled to announce 826CHI’s recent feature on ABC’s Good Morning America alongside 826 National and founders Dave Eggers and Nínive Calegari! This is a tremendous opportunity to reach a national audience and further our mission of amplifying the voices of Chicago’s youth. We are so excited to see our students shine on a national stage while they read their stories and poems, reflect on their creative writing process, and share what they love about 826CHI.

This school year, your support has helped 826CHI serve 1,143 students, 44 schools, and 38 teachers. From our Field Trips at our Wicker Park Writing Lab, to our After School Writing Lab in both Wicker Park and Roseland, and our professional development series for teachers, we envision a future that is bigger and bolder, expands reach and access to our programs, and is more deeply connected to and reflective of the students, families, and communities that we serve.
