Originally from Northern California, Kylie Bennett (she/her) is a Chicago-based educator, consultant, and advocate. She is a former program manager, special education teacher and dyslexia therapist, with over 7 years of experience in the education, and nonprofit sectors. Kylie is passionate about creating equitable and inclusive spaces where all students feel empowered. She went to The Ohio State University for her undergraduate degree, where she studied business and communication technology. She then earned her Masters in Education from SMU, specializing in literacy studies and urban education. Kylie’s work has focused on person-centered learning, community engagement, and advocacy for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodiverse students. In her free time, she likes to go to the lake, visit local coffee shops, and explore the city.
